Mood Concept
In his memoirs, Dr. Yersin expressed regret in his later years for having discovered Da Lat as this marked the beginning of the exploitation of this beautiful land and indirectly pushed the indigenous Lach people down to the Di Linh Plateau.
The small struggles of the Lach people at that time were not directed at French military officers, but at agricultural engineers, urban planners, and skilled craftsmen from Spain. These individuals had a profound impact, shaping the city of Da Lat as we know it today.
Dated back in 1890, a castle near the valley was constructed as an observation post and defensive stronghold. The spaces within the castle have been transformed into corridors and premium suites. The objects hold numerous hidden stories that lead to an overarching narrative which visitors can experience through their own understanding and reasoning. A hidden bar, known only to the most inquisitive travelers, offers a secret reward for those who delve deep into the experience.
Subtle clues are woven into both the architecture and the services, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the story.
