Hospitality setup

During colonial exploration, the French brought to Da Lat temperate vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, salads along with unfamiliar products like coffee. They expected the similar climate would giving them a taste of home. At that time, chefs used many local ingredients but could not hide that, although they cooked in French style, the taste was from Indochina.

Mood Concept

Inspired by the majestic pine forests and the richness of the Lam Vien Plateau, we use local ingredients to tell the culinary story of this place.

This is a story about the warmth in a small wooden house next to the pine trees with a bit of the breath of the South of France.

Lam Vien Plateau

Nestled by the shores of Tuyen Lam Lake, along a small, lush slope of ferns leading to the rooftop of the Lan Anh villa complex, La Foret emerges as a mysterious hanging garden, subtly illuminated by the sunset reflecting off the lake's surface.

La Foret consists of three seating areas for guests, connected by stone steps on a bed of ivory white pebbles, resembling a small stream gently meandering through the pine forest, creating cool banks for visitors to stop and enjoy tea, coffee, and a few pastries.

As the evening descends, the air becomes cooler with a misty haze. Gathered around a crackling fire, we enjoy the moment of changing seasons between the earth and nature, savoring delicious dishes, listening to a couple of love songs, and singing along to a few tunes, quietly expressing gratitude for this wonderful moment we have been given.
